History and previous accidents have shown that wiring has to be considered a system and more focus has to be given to its maintenance. By its nature there are some overlap between the topics of Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) and Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) – combining the training will save time and enhance staff motivation.
After completing the course, the student will be aware of the reason for introducing the FTS and EWIS concept. He will be aware of common problems that can be encountered when working on these systems and how and where to obtain and use maintenance data relevant for work on these systems.

The course does NOT include EWIS Module G – Practical Training
